Conversations are how you interact with Framework’s AI. Each conversation is a threaded discussion where you can ask questions, get answers, and drill deeper into topics.
Creating a New Conversation
- Click the Chat (message bubble) icon in the activity bar.
- The Chat sidebar opens showing your conversation list.
- Click + New Chat at the top of the sidebar.
- A new conversation opens in the main viewport with an empty message input.
You can also start a new conversation from:
- The Project Home dashboard — type a question in the quick-ask input.
- Mobile — tap the + button in the center of the bottom navigation bar.
Your First Message
Type your question in the message input at the bottom and press Enter or click the send button. The conversation is created automatically when you send your first message — no extra setup required.
Conversation Titles
Conversations are automatically titled based on the content of your first message. This helps you find past conversations in the sidebar list.
Conversation List
The Chat sidebar shows all your conversations grouped by date:
- Today
- Yesterday
- Previous 7 Days
- Older
Click any conversation to reopen it and continue where you left off.
