Accessing Security Settings
- Click the Settings icon (gear) in the activity bar
- Under the Account section, click Security
- The password change form appears in the main viewport
Changing Your Password
To change your password:
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
- Enter the new password again in the confirm password field
- Click Update Password
On success, you’ll see a confirmation: “Your password has been changed successfully.” The form fields clear automatically.
Show/Hide: Each password field has an eye icon toggle that lets you show or hide the password text. This is helpful for verifying what you’ve typed.
Password Strength Indicator
When typing a new password, a real-time strength indicator appears below the field. It shows a visual bar and a label:

| Too short | Red | Fewer than 8 characters — not accepted |
| Weak | Red | Meets minimum length but lacks variety |
| Fair | Yellow | Some character variety, acceptable |
| Good | Green | Good mix of character types |
| Strong | Green | Excellent — uses length, mixed case, numbers, and symbols |
Tips for a Strong Password
- Use at least 12 characters for best security
- Mix uppercase and lowercase letters
- Include numbers
- Add special characters (!, @, #, $, etc.)
- Avoid common words or personal information
Forgot Your Password?
If you can’t remember your current password:
- Log out of Framework
- On the login page, click Forgot password?
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox for a password reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
Note: Password reset links expire after a limited time. If your link has expired, request a new one.
Account Activity
The Security page also shows your last sign in date and time. This helps you monitor your account for any unauthorized access.
If you notice a sign-in time you don’t recognize, change your password immediately and contact support.
Signing Out
To sign out of Framework:
- Open the Settings sidebar
- Click Log out at the bottom of the sidebar
- You’ll be redirected to the login page
