A tender package that protects you: bids come back unqualified, complete and comparable. Built for one trade, ready to issue to bidders.
What you get
- Key information – Validity, bid security, insurance, holdback, liquidated damages and the rest of the tender terms, each traced to the clause or section it came from.
- Scope of work – Your Division 01 general requirements plus the project’s own trade scope, written from its drawings and specs.
- Tender documents – The actual drawings, specifications, reports and addenda, listed.
- Tender form – Pricing appendices for alternates, itemized, separate and unit prices, labour classifications and long-lead items, with exclusions kept to Appendix 10.
- Schedule, logistics and risk – Milestones, site logistics, insurance, bonding, safety and the subcontract reference.
How it works
- The agent agrees the trade package with you – the trade, the package number, and supply and install, supply only or install only.
- It finds the tender terms in the contract, Division 00, supplementary conditions, specs and schedule, and shows you each one with its source.
- It asks you for anything it couldn’t find. Terms you leave open stay as bracketed placeholders.
- It writes the trade scope and shows it to you for changes before assembling the package.
- It builds the package, then reports the closing date, the open placeholders and the prices the tender form asks for.
Try asking
- Build the tender package for electrical, supply and install. Closing is the 14th at 2 pm.
- Put together package 09A for drywall and acoustic ceilings. Ask for unit rates on bulkheads.
- What tender terms can you find in the supplementary conditions for the mechanical package?
